For this season of Asian Art sales, Chiswick Auctions will feature a wide and diverse range of East Asian works of art, from China, Japan, Korea and across the Himalayas. Many of these works are from private collections, including a selection of fine ceramics from the renowned collection of Mr. Basil and the Hon. Mrs. Nellie Ionides. We will also feature works from other private collections including a fine and impressive Chinese carved greystone head of the Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva.. We are also offering an impressive Korean screen depicting the eight Confucian virtues, again from a private collection in London as well as an exciting range of Japanese works of art including woodblock prints and in particular a large incense burner, (a tsuri-koro). We look forward to you joining us for this exciting season!
